About this place
Buskett Woodlands is one of Malta’s most distinctive natural spaces, set in a lush valley near Siġġiewi and Verdala Palace. It was established during the time of the Knights of St John and is widely recognised as Malta’s main woodland area.
Visitors can walk through shaded paths, enjoy a picnic, spend time in nature or simply relax away from the busier tourist areas.
Please note: Stay on designated paths, avoid disturbing wildlife or damaging plants, and take all litter with you. Children should be supervised. Dogs should be kept on a leash unless signs indicate otherwise. The woodland is especially popular for picnics and can become busier on weekends and public holidays.
