About this place
Dingli Cliffs are one of Malta’s most impressive natural attractions, stretching along the island’s western coast near the village of Dingli. Rising high above the Mediterranean, the cliffs offer panoramic sea views, rugged countryside and a peaceful escape from Malta’s busier tourist areas. The cliffs reach around 253 metres above sea level, making this one of the island’s most dramatic viewpoints.
Visitors can stop at viewpoints along the coastal road, enjoy a scenic walk through the surrounding countryside or simply relax and watch the sun set over the open sea. The area also connects with longer countryside walking routes towards Fawwara and Wied iż-Żurrieq.
Please note: Keep a safe distance from cliff edges, particularly in windy conditions. Wear comfortable shoes if walking beyond the roadside viewpoints. There is limited shade, so bring water and sun protection during warmer months. The area can also become very windy. For the best experience, visit during daylight or around sunset.
