About this place
Dwejra is one of Gozo’s most impressive natural areas, known for its rugged coastline, unusual rock formations and clear Mediterranean waters. Visitors can walk around the coast, enjoy views of Fungus Rock, see the Inland Sea and discover the famous Blue Hole.
The area is ideal for sightseeing, photography, coastal walks and swimming when sea conditions are suitable. The former Azure Window also stood here before collapsing in 2017, and its underwater remains now form part of the surrounding dive site.
Please note: Dwejra and its outdoor coastal areas are free to explore and open at all times; optional activities such as boat trips and diving are operated separately and may require payment. Take extra care near the shoreline and cliff edges, particularly during rough weather.
