About this place
Għar Lapsi is a scenic rocky swimming spot on Malta’s southwest coast, near Siġġiewi. The inlet is known for its clear Mediterranean water and natural limestone surroundings, making it popular for swimming and snorkelling. It has a quieter, more local feel than Malta’s larger beaches and is especially suited to visitors who enjoy rocky coastal swimming rather than sandy shores.
Please note: This is a rocky swimming inlet rather than a sandy beach. Family friendly but better for confident swimmers and older children. Take care on slippery rocks and avoid swimming when the sea is rough.
