Golden Bay is one of Malta’s best-known sandy beaches, located on the island’s northwest coast near Mellieħa. The wide stretch of golden sand and clear Mediterranean water makes it a popular choice for swimming, sunbathing and relaxed family beach days. Visitors can find sunbeds and refreshments nearby, while the surrounding coastline provides beautiful views, particularly around sunset. During the summer months the beach can become busy, so arriving earlier in the day is recommended.
