Ramla Bay is one of Gozo’s most iconic beaches, set beneath green hills and countryside near Xagħra. It is especially known for its warm reddish-golden sand, wide beach and clear Mediterranean water. The bay is popular with families, swimmers and visitors looking for a relaxed beach day in a scenic natural setting.
The well-known viewpoint over Ramla Bay is from Tal-Mixta Cave, located high above the bay. Reaching the cave involves walking over uneven terrain and rocky paths, so suitable footwear is recommended. The viewpoint is not ideal for visitors with reduced mobility, and extra care should be taken near exposed edges.
