Wied Babu is a scenic valley on the outskirts of Żurrieq, close to the Blue Grotto area. Surrounded by steep limestone cliffs and dense vegetation, it offers a very different landscape from Malta’s coastal towns and beaches. The valley is particularly associated with hiking, trekking and rock climbing, while nearby viewpoints offer views over the valley and towards Filfla.
Please note: Visitors should use recognised public access routes and avoid entering private land or attempting difficult sections without appropriate experience.
